BEACHES FOR SPORTS LOVERS

Empuries (L'Escala)

EMPURIES Empuries is a unique place but with multiple destinations. There is a fantastic path between sand dunes and pines, next to the bays and beaches -perfect for cycling or simply jogging. But diving on this beach and area is here of particular interest for its historical content: the ruins of a Greek city (VI b.C), next to San Marti d'Empúries makes that underwater archeology is an adventure. For the lovers of Kitesurf and Windsurf it is also the “must” spot for Costa Brava.
